I have a friend who wrenches on cars, fixes them up and sells them on. His name is Ben and he has a YouTube channel named “TheCorvetteBen” which you can find here:
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
I have visited him in the past, and a lot of his projects have come and gone before I had the chance to review one. Recently he aquired a 1973 Big Block Corvette and he just finished putting it back into shape. Our schedules lined up, so I went over to his place with a bag full of electronics.
As the video shows I was greeted with the magnificent shape only a C3 vette has. That iconic coke bottle shape, those sidepipes and most importantly, that big block engine!
I hope you enjoy the video as much as I enjoyed driving a corvette for the first time in my LIFE!

Nice video. Too bad you couldn’t get it out and really open it up.
I can’t wait for the drop top video, that teaser sounded really nice!

Nice. Does this one have an abnormally large fuel tank? There were a series of gold C3 big block Corvettes which were built specially for the Shriners. They had larger-than-normal gas tanks and were gold (brown?) They may have only been 1969 cars, though.

My next car just may be a ‘71 convertible to go with my ‘71 Camaro and ‘71 wife. I think it would be a nice trifecta.

I bet Ben would have told me if there was something “off” with this vette since he has another 73. So I don’t think it had a huge gas tank.

Yeah, I would have loved to put my foot to the floorboard. Hopefully we can do that with the other 73 down the line! It does indeed sound SUPER healthy!

That would be a very cool thing to say at a car show. “What can I say, I like the vintage!”
